Encouraging Youth To Dream PERFORMING ARTS STUDIO
Kimberly Brooks (Owner/Founder) is not only versatile and devoted to performing nothing but the best for her
audiences, she is also on a mission to "encourage" and "lift" aspiring entertainers! Kimberly has become a familiar face to television audiences with Guest Appearances on such shows as "Martin", "Just Jordan", "Judging Amy", "The Parkers", "The Bernie Mac Show", "Even Stevens", "The Hugleys", "Living Single", "NYPD Blue", "Married With Children", "Roc" and a recurring role as "Chante" on "The Jamie Foxx Show". She also has an impressive list of film roles including Universal Pictures "Honey 2". Ms. Brooks can also be seen and heard in a host of voice overs and television commercials, such as "State Farm", "Macys", "Chevrolet", "Triple AAA", "McDonalds", "Sprint" and "Cable One". But it was her series regular role for two seasons as "Paula Dellahouse" on the Emmy Award winning hit SHOWTIME Series "HUFF" that made her dreams come true. She credits her starring role at the age of nine in the play, "The Bad Seed", at Baltimore's Arena Players, as the beginning of her career. Instilled with performing and "shining", at the early age of fourteen, Kimberly was crowned "Miss Hal Jackson's Talented Teen of Maryland" and then went on to win "Miss Hal Jackson's Talented Teen International". After graduating with a degree in Television and Communication from Villa Julia College, she moved to Los Angeles and toured the United States with hit Off-Broadway shows such as "Shelly Garrett's Beauty Shop" and "David E. Talberts "Tellin It Like It Tiz" and "Jerome Benton's Love Makes No Sense".
Kimberly is now on a mission to fulfill her new dream, by developing and overseeing "Encouraging Youth to Dream Performing Arts Studio". She wants to share all the knowledge that she has attained through her experiences in the entertainment industry. Kimberly is not only determined to encourage and lift the kids and adults from her hometown, but she intends to bring all her Celebrity friends to Maryland to mentor and share their stories as well. Her goal is to remind them that dreams really do come true!
